Warranty

At Timber Lodge 365, we stand behind the quality of our craftsmanship and the durability of our materials. We want you to have full peace of mind knowing that your investment is protected by a comprehensive warranty.

1. Structural Warranty

We provide a 10-year structural warranty on all our premium timber buildings. This covers the integrity of the log structure, including the walls, floor joists, and roof construction, ensuring they remain sound and fit for purpose.

2. Timber Quality

We use high-quality, slow-grown Scandinavian timber. While wood is a natural product and may develop minor surface cracks or knots (which are not covered as defects), we guarantee that the timber supplied is of the grade and quality specified in your order.

3. Windows and Doors

All glazing units, doors, and window frames come with a 2-year functional warranty. This covers the hinges, locks, and handles, as well as the double-glazing seals, provided they have been correctly adjusted and maintained.

4. Professional Installation Warranty

If you choose our Assembly Service, we provide a 1-year workmanship guarantee. This ensures that the structure has been built according to the manufacturer’s guidelines. If any issues arise due to the assembly process within the first year, our team will return to fix them free of charge.

5. Maintenance Requirements

To keep your warranty valid, the timber must be treated with a high-quality wood preservative or paint shortly after installation. Timber is a natural material that requires protection from moisture and UV rays. Failure to treat the wood or perform regular maintenance every 2-3 years may void the structural warranty.

6. Foundation Responsibility

The warranty is dependent on the structure being placed on a level, solid, and adequate foundation. Timber Lodge 365 is not responsible for structural issues, such as door misalignment or timber shifting, caused by a subsiding or uneven base provided by the customer.

7. Exclusions

The warranty does not cover damage caused by:

  • Extreme weather events (storms, flooding, or lightning).

  • Improper modifications or DIY repairs.

  • General wear and tear or neglect.

  • Natural movement of the wood (minor warping or shrinking due to humidity changes).

8. How to Make a Claim

If you believe there is an issue covered by this warranty, please contact us via email with your order number and photos of the affected area. Our technical team will review the information and arrange for a site visit or replacement parts as necessary.
